Stella did not want to follow, she wanted to join. Whilst her family huddled close muttering about the wayward woolly, she stepped further, not to idle, but to connect. With each new flock she met, she felt her voice grow stronger. And when the time came, she joined the march - not as a stray, but as part of something larger. Her family still grazed, but sometimes they would accompany her - choosing not only to follow, but to join.

Both the sheep are ceramic and they have been embellished with a grape from France, textiles from an evening bag and leaves from a mobile. All materials are recycled, collected and found, deconstructed and reassembled to tell a new story and have a refreshed purpose.
They have also been hand painted, collaged and foil leaf added.
All my pieces are individual and one-off - as I only work with recycled and reclaimed objects I never know what I am going to find. If you are looking for something particular, please ask - and I'll start looking!
