The bug is a discarded toy, attached to a reused brooch back. She has been hand painted, foil leafed and embellished with vintage costume jewellery and glass from an old bonsai ornament. All materials are recycled, collected and found, deconstructed and reassembled to tell a new story and have a refreshed purpose.
All my pieces are individual and one-off - as I only work with recycled and reclaimed objects I never know what I am going to find. If you are looking for something particular, please ask - and I'll start looking!
