Hoot was lost. She had become separated from her pod after a particularly boisterous game of Tag the Tail, and had ended up flying through the air, and now she had to find her family. But her whale voice had changed; now all she could do was to hoot like an owl. She hooted high and low, expecting to be lost forever, but it was such a strange underwater noise that everyone came to see who was making it, including her family, and she was never lost again.
