Tiger and Budgie on Wooden Bridge Plinth

14cm x 8cm x 6cm

The jungle was so green, lush and dense, that best friends Hula and Quince felt it was such a shame that no-one could see their beautiful coats and plumage. Quince collected passion florals from the market and adorned their coats with them. They became revered by the locals who showered them with gifts of food and gems. They ate the food and bedazzled with the gems.

The Joy of Flamboyance

Part of the Army of Joys Collection

The tiger and budgie are discarded toys, embellished with collected feathers, textiles, jewellery, dried flower components and beads. They have also been dressed with decoupage, paint and silver leaf. The base is wooden and has been covered with paper mâché and decoupage.
