Lyra felt cumbersome whatever she did – it could be scrambling about on land, or wallowing around in the shallows and bustling around with the other hippos. But when she heard a tune, she just felt the rhythm going through her; she released her inner diva and danced, danced, danced feeling free.
The Joy of Dance
Part of the Army of Joys
Lyra was a discarded toy, and is now embellished with collected feathers, textiles, jewellery, dried flower components and beads. She has also been dressed with decoupage, paint and silver leaf. Her ballerina was a cake topper.
